This is held every two months on the first Wednesday at 2.00pm. It is usually held at the Winding Wheel in Chesterfield and includes a talk by a guest speaker. Prospective members may attend in order to find out more about U3A. The next meeting is on January 3rd when David Bell will give a talk entitled 'Trust me, I am your plague doctor' about the plague in Eyam. The meeting on March 7th will be the AGM.
All members and prospective members are welcome at our coffee mornings to meet old friends, make new ones and find out more about all the activities provided by Chesterfield U3A.
These are held between 10.15 and 11.45 in the Saints Parish Centre, St Mary's Way (upstairs at the side of the building) on the first Wednesday of months when there is not a member's meeting (i.e. Feb, April, June, Aug, Oct, Dec).
Tea Shop Sessions will also be held upstairs at the Peacock Coffee
Lounge, the Pavements every fourth Wednesday 2.30 to 3.45pm. This is for both
potential and existing members.
