4th Thursday - 2.00pm
St Mark's Church Brampton
This is a group for those with little experience of flower arranging who want to be able to do more than stick a bunch of flowers in a vase. Each week we practise one of the 'classic' arrangements, such as the triangle or the Hogarth curve, using our own choice of flowers and container. We also learn another, 'quirkier' arrangement as demonstrated by our teacher, a past president of the Guild of Church Flower Arrangers.
There will be a small cost for room hire and the teacher's flowers and then there's the cost of your flowers and any special equipment you may need. Sometimes we arrange trips to the flower market in Sheffield. Members of our group have access to our closed Facebook page, which showcases our work and allows members not present at the meeting to see what we've learned.
